Local author Shelia (Shaffer) Burket, publishes her first book, "Longing For December," a romance novel, through Lulu.com. Shelia lives in Elkview W.V. with her husband David from Fredericksburg VA. Between them they have 4 children; Cole, Cody, Courtney, & Dylan. New additions to the family -Son-n-law, Justin, who is a US Marine, and Noah our first grandchild. Shelia attended Herbert Hoover Highschool, class of "84." Her hobbies are writing, singing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
